Sunday Soapbox Called On Account of Flu

I hate being sick. Sucks to be sick all weekend long. And to see my baby getting sick with the same thing despite my best efforts to shield her.

On the other hand, I could be much sicker (as could she - she seems to just have a runny nose - no fever, no other apparent discomfort). I could be facing a deadly or debilitating disease. I could be facing chronic pain or something that kept me from work for a long time. I could be working somewhere where I couldn't take off sick.

So, no soapbox, but I will be back.
