I am a writer, a novelist, a short story writer, a poet an essayist, a humorist and a blogger. I am a scientist, an engineer, a rocket scientist, a mathematician, and a proponent of logic and education. I’m a thinker, a philosopher, a historian, a music lover, political commentator, and art lover. I am interested in the occult and magic and wizardry, palmistry and tarot (and can read tarot).
I am also a mother of a teenager, a baby and a special needs boy, who are all great kids and all great pains in the butt other times. I am an older sister, a daughter, a friend. I have lost a father and know what it’s like to live through emotional abuse. I have dealt with (but not necessarily had) mental and physical problems, from dyslexia to diabetes, disassociative personality disorder to bipolar, extreme passivity to well and truly being-an-assedness. I’m a jack of all trades, a master of none of them. I am a good listener.
I used to have a blog on Today.com. Long story why I don't any more, but I'm not sorry to be gone. Enough said. However, I do have a large backlog of fine posts over there that I should link but won't for good reasons.
I used to be at Today.com too. It hurt me to walk away, but I'm finding the friendly world of bloggers is still there - perhaps friendlier since our experiences with Today.com

Hey, the 365 Days of Astronomy is looking for podcast, maybe you can do an episode and promote your blog
http://365daysofastronomy.org/2009/06/11/wanna-do-a-podcast/
with a astronomy, science related site i can't understand your "palmistry and tarot" part..
noni, it's not a site as much about science and astronomy as it is about me. And I'm more than just my job.
As I've mentioned before, scientist and a closed mind seem mutually exclusive to me.
Hi Stephanie, Wondering if we could chat offline? - Heather in Petaluma, mom of a pre-teen, 2-year-old, business manager, student, writer, aviation fanatic, etcetera :-) great_laughter@hotmail.com
Hi Stephanie I have been following your discussion on ouryouscreening and for the record I believe that Avatar movie is on the top of list. Wishing you the best in 2010.
Thank you, Steve. You're clearly smarter than I am to stay out of the fray.
I have made many comments on other blogs that didn't agree with writer's point of view, but I have to honestly say I have never seen anyone like Marc with so much tenacious attitude to try to prove his point. By the way I write poetry and I do artistic expression in hot formed glass beads and marbles. I wish you the best with your blogging. BTW -- you have a nice site.
Hi Stephanie, I started my blog a few weeks ago and I am floored by how similar our ideas are. I started my blog after the BP oil spill and have found it to be a great outlet for my creative energy.
If you ever do reviews on your Blog you could consider my new eBook?
www.spaceshuttlealamanc.com, I would appreciate your opinion?
A comprehensive overview of 40 years of space shuttle development and operations.
You Know I Once Dreamed of a Rocket Scientist who Stuck me in a Giant Black Nuclear Bomb and then Ceased to Exist. It was a Weird time.
