Even in sun-drenched Houston (apparently, solar panels work best in northern climates, because heat makes them far less efficient. Go figure).

Alternative energy is a grand, and eventual, notion. But it is in its infancy. Vast research dollars are needed, but they are slowly being spent. Hopefully, soon. The Motherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15157821003454766570noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8198390912401056862.post-57011164632618662572009-12-07T16:56:32.191-06:002009-12-07T16:56:32.191-06:00great work... thx for doing my homework!great work... thx for doing my homework!Jeff Kinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00667419764890599092noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8198390912401056862.post-52751487392257739222009-12-07T08:50:16.964-06:002009-12-07T08:50:16.964-06:00Ooh, more info on the couterintuitive notion that ...Ooh, more info on the couterintuitive notion that pursuing energy conservation and energy alternatives is prohibitively expensive. It always amazes me that people with absolutely no credentials in the field at all are given equal time - not only have they no idea what they're talking about, they don't even know how to conduct simple research. It's like the creationists demanding equal time in science classrooms, and no amount of pointing out the obvious can ever get them to grasp the concept that belief is not science and has no place in a science curriculum. It just boggles the mind!Royhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01648670975466222140noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8198390912401056862.post-35652735198384688302009-12-07T07:51:00.015-06:002009-12-07T07:51:00.015-06:00Excellent Post and great links.
